CVEP & CVSBDC July Fireside Chat - next week
This Wednesday, the Coachella Valley SBDC in partnership with the College of the Desert is hosting its monthly Fireside Chat. The two-hour conversation, "Frequent HR Pitfalls and Common Sense Solutions," will feature local business owners and HR companies who will be addressing how to find the right talent, how to motivate employees beyond compensation, and other common workplace issues. The workshop begins at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, in Room B200 of the UCR Palm Desert Graduate Center. Featured speakers for the Entrepreneurial Workshop Series program, include: Belinda Morris, Peoplescape HR Services; Eric Morcus, Kaiser Restaurant Group; and Lydia Rodriguez-Strickland, LFR & Associates.

CVEP hosting Valley Chambers
Today CVEP is hosting the Executive Directors of the cities Chambers of Commerce for a luncheon and a get acquainted meeting. As part of CVEP's regional objectives it is important for CVEP to work with the Chambers from across the valley and to discuss opportunities for collaboration. We look forward to further partnering with the Chambers and joining forces to better serve the needs of the valleys businesses. |
