Parkway 1e11 Economic Impact Study Released
CVEP along with the Greater Palm Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Coachella Valley Association of Governments will be hosting a briefing by noted Inland Empire economist Dr. John Husing who will present a just completed economic analysis of Parkway 1e11, the 46 mile long bike, pedestrian and neighborhood electric vehicle path designed along the Whitewater River. CVEP Strategic Partner Leads Students to a National Champoinship Win
Earlier this month participated over 600 robotics students from across the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and Puerto Rico with one guest team from Spain converged at LEGOLAND in Carlsbad for the 2nd Annual FIRST LEGO League Open North American Championship. One team comprised of seven students from the Coachella Valley known as X-Treme Team, a fiery group of 10-, 11-, and 12-year-olds, rose above the rest winning top honors, the prestigious Inspiration Award. These seven students were originally part of Reagan Elementary after school robotics program run by volunteer mom Liberty Naud of Smart Education, a CVEP Strategic Partner.
