This week ArtsOasis held the Creative California Desert Summit. It was well attended as stakeholders and valley residents were eager to learn the potential economic impact of the creative economy here in the Coachella Valley. Economic Forecast to be held on Tuesday
The 2012 CMC-UCLA Coachella Valley Economic Forecast Conference -- Presented by Rabobank and Hosted by Claremont McKenna College with the UCLA Forecast, in conjunction with CVEP -- Featuring Internationally Noted Speakers and Panelists, to be Held on Tuesday, May 15 at the Miramonte Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, California. National, State, Inland Empire and Coachella Valley Forecasts will be discussed by Economists from UCLA Anderson Forecast and Claremont McKenna College. Panel Discussions will include: "Redevelopment Agency (RDA) Issues and Opportunities for a New World of Economic Development" And "Politics and Economics in a Presidential Election Year." CVSBDC to hold Workshop this Week
The Coachella Valley Small Business Development Center (CVSBDC) is offering a workshop titled "Cash Flow Management in Trying Times" as part of their CV Small Business Success Program. The workshop, hosted by CVEP and the College of the Desert, is on Wednesday, May 16th at the College of the Desert's PACE Office from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. This workshop will provide solutions to common cash flow problems for Small Businesses, and how small businesses can avoid some of the cash flow "traps."
