CVEP opens office in East Valley
This week opened a satellite office in Indio, as part of its blueprint strategy to provide entrepreneurs and business people with the resources they need to succeed. Located at 81-557 Dr. Carreon Boulevard in the Town & Country South center, is 800-square-foot space was donated by the commercial property owners, retired Superior Court Judge Richard Marsh and wife, Frances. The new east valley CVEP office will have dual-functionality, primarily housing the Coachella Valley Small Business Development Center (CVSBDC) as well as serving as a convenient spot for CVEP representatives and the Workforce Excellence team to meet with and support clients. Creative California Desert Summit
CVEP and ArtsOasis has issued a final call to get an on-stage seat Tuesday, May 8, at the McCallum Theatre for a production that's meant to identify the players and pieces that make up the Coachella Valley's creative arts industry. The continental breakfast and program, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., features keynote speaker Bob Marra, president of Wheeler's Market Intelligence, who will unveil the landmark study, "The Creative California Desert." CViHub Client on the Brink of Success
On April 28, The Desert Sun featured an article on CViHub client Attune RTD. In December the "green team" led by CVEP got Attune to stay in Palm Springs rather than accept the very enticing efforts led by Texas. The company is now concentrating on developing "a digital energy-management system that can be wired into pool pumps to help them run at top efficiency. The company could be a game-changer for the Coachella Valley and the region's drive to become a center for renewable energy and clean technology. Read more.... |
