CVEP Teeing Up With Canada's Top Businesses
This weekend CVEP along with several of our stakeholders is participating in a celebrity golf tournament hosted by the Canada California Business Council right here in Desert Hot Springs. The Golf Tournament is bringing together key players from the business and banking community from Canada and California. The goals of the Canada California Business Council are business acceleration and economic development. These are achieved by bringing together business, political and social leaders with networking opportunities to result in new job creation, increased foreign direct investment and increased trade. This is an opportunity to reach out to our northern neighbors to showcase the great opportunities here in the Coachella Valley. |

SBDC is "Open for Business"
The Coachella Valley Small Business Development Center has been a part of CVEP's resources since January 1st of this year but in just a month and a half, has already made great strides. Getting out into the community and sharing what the SBDC has to offer is being accomplished through presentations at City Council meetings across the valley, talking with Chambers of Commerce and meeting directly with business owners. This week The Public Record featured an article on the SBDC stressing the ease of working with a one stop shop at the Rabobank Regional Business Center which now includes CVEP, the CViHub, SBDC, Workforce Excellence and other business resources. If you haven't had the chance to meet our Managing Director, Ezekiel Bonillas or learn about what the SBDC can do for businesses here in the valley contact us to learn more.
