Clean Tech Investor Summit
This is the 8th year, The Clean-Tech Investor Summit will be held in Indian Wells. This conference is the "premier clean-tech investment and innovation event of the year". The event brings together leading investors, Fortune 500 executives, entrepreneurs, and service providers for two days of high-level presentations, conversations, and networking. This year CVEP is sponsoring a VIP night and will be hosting several industry leaders on a bus ride across the valley on the way to dinner. The Rabobank Regional Business Center
The visions for the Rabobank Regional Business Center are well in line with CVEP activities. The goal of the building to become a "regional business center" and a "one stop shop" were quite evident this week as we hosted various activities including the CVEP CEO Advisory Council meeting, the Northwest -Coachella Valley Biz Connect, a Riverside County Exporting workshop, a SCORE Workshop and a photo shoot for our CViHub clients, and several other miscellaneous business meetings. This one time CVEP regional dream has quickly become defined as a place for doing business and creating opportunity! |
Help Send Local Students to College
It's that time of the year again; students from across the valley are completing the FAFSA in order to receive federal money for college. CVEP's Workforce Excellence team is once again holding a competition amongst valley high schools and the College of the Desert to encourage students to complete this key paperwork to help financially send them to college. CVEP is hosting a fundraiser to raise money for the competition winners on Friday, February 10 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at UCR Palm Desert Graduate Center; we invite you to partake in this very worthwhile fundraiser and have fun celebrating our kids!
