February is FAFSA Month
It's that time of the year again; students from across the valley are completing the FAFSA in order to receive federal money for college. CVEP's Workforce Excellence team is once again holding a competition amongst valley high schools and the College of the Desert to encourage students to complete this key paperwork to help financially send them to college. CVEP is hosting a fundraiser to raise money for the competition winners on Friday, February 10 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at UCR Palm Desert Graduate Center; we invite you to partake in this very worthwhile fundraiser and have fun celebrating our kids! CVEP's Board of Directors Meeting
This past Wednesday the Board of Directors meeting was highlighted in The Desert Sun. The story introduced two additions to the CVEP team that include the Managing Director of the CViHub, Joe Wallace, and the Managing Director of the SBDC, Ezekiel Bonillas. Export Trade Assistance Partnership
This upcoming Wednesday Riverside County EDA/College of Foreign Trade is presenting an opportunity to learn about bringing your product oversees. This class will be held at the Rabobank Regional Business Center from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. The program is geared to businesses, manufacturers, economic developers, professional service providers, agribusinesses and exporters who are seeking growth through global markets.
