Workforce Excellence in the News
This past week, CVEP's concentration and primary goal area of Workforce Excellence, an outcome of the Economic Blueprint, proved an extremely important and topical focus. An article which appeared in The Desert Sun reports new census data shows "fewer adults in the Coachella Valley have a bachelor's degree or higher compared to the state average". Team members from Pathways to Success, CVEP's Workforce Excellence program were quoted throughout the article explaining the importance of improved education levels as part of the region's economic development. Rabobank Regional Business Center to host Chamber Mixer
This Thursday, CVEP will host at the Rabobank Regional Business Center an evening with the West Valley Chambers of Commerce to celebrate the opening of the CViHub. The Chambers of Commerce for Palm Springs, Cathedral City and Desert Hot Springs will partake in this joint mixer on Thursday, November 10 from 5:30 - 7:30. Economic Impact of Golf Club Communities
