CVEP Recognizes Summer Healthcare Interns
Yesterday, CVEP's Workforce Excellence team held a celebration for the Healthcare Career Connection (HCC) summer interns. The agenda featured a summary by the interns and their host site representatives of their work over the past few months. In what is a core objective for CVEP, jobs, these internships gave 20 students employment over the summer months. Yesterday offered a venue to share their experience. The message was repeated several times, the confidence this experience gave these young students will play an extremely important role in accomplishing their career goals. |

CVEP Meets with Solar Trust of America
This week CVEP met with the Chairman and CEO of Solar Trust of America regarding the future of solar in the Coachella Valley and about the plans for their solar project. Blythe Solar Power Project will become the largest solar facility in the world. Solar Trust agreed to work with CVEP toward common goals, assuring CVEP they are committed to the region and to seeing their project come to fruition. CA leads list of Fastest Growing Companies
The September 26, 2011 issue of CNN Money, lists Fortune's Fastest Growing Companies of which 16 are in California, the most of any other state by far.
