CVEP News

Here is a glimpse of what is happening at CVEP.

Workforce Education Summit

On Monday, CVEP hosted a workforce education Summit which included guests from across the nation including a speaker from the Nashville Chamber of Commerce who is currently leading one of the nation's most ambitious efforts in improving the education system. Best practices were discussed and CVEP's Workforce Excellence took away many insightful ideas of how to improve their efforts along with sharing their successes and achievements with other educational entities. The Summit also included representatives from Ford Motor Company's philanthropic arm, whose goal is to improve education and career opportunities through the fund's Advanced Studies Next Generation Learning national network. CVEP's workforce Excellence is one of 19 communities nationwide that has received assistance from the Ford Motor Co. Fund.  The Desert Sun and KPSP Local 2 covered the story, click here to read the article.
