CVEP Congratulates Scholarship Winners
This past Saturday, CVEP's Pathways to Success held an awards program for this year's scholarship award winners. This year, 428 local students are being awarded over $1.8 million in scholarship funds. These students are attending Universities and colleges throughout the nation with the majority beginning their college careers here at College of the Desert. These scholarship winners not only get much needed money for college they are also mentored by CVEP Pathways to Success Counselors who provide guidance, advice and support. CVEP has an ad in this week's issue of The Public Record congratulating the scholarship winners and thanking all those who make the scholarships possible. CVEP in the News
CVEP appeared in a variety of news stories this week following our annual meeting last week. The front page story in The Public Record covered the CVEP Annual meeting, summarizing the discussion of Coachella Valley's opportunities and competitive advantage.
