CVEP News

Here is a glance into what happened at CVEP this week.

Expanding the passenger rail system

CVEP is partnering with local agencies to discuss the passenger rail opportunity to bring passengers from the L.A. market to the Coachella Valley.  The push for rail service is gaining momentum and CVEP is excited to be a part of it.  To read a recent article about the project click here

Good economic news in the valley

Amid the encouraging national news of revenue gains in retail, the Coachella Valley also has encouraging sales numbers to report.  The Cathedral City Auto Center sold 862 new and used vehicles in February 2011, the most vehicles sold in  4 years since February 2007.  This is great news and we look forward to seeing more positive gains for our local economy!
