CVEP's Pathways to Success team helped connect 62 health academy students to 13 business partner sites for a Job Shadow Day. These students are all part of the Health and Environmental Academy of Learning (HEAL) at Cathedral City High School in Palm Springs Unified School District. 3rd Annual CVEP Small Business Resource Forum & Expo
CVEP along with the SBA (Small Business Administration) and the Indio Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 3rd Annual Small Business Resource Forum and Expo on February 24 at the Sun City Shadow Hills Country Club. The event will feature area business leaders with information on loan programs, business incentives and resources and onsite counseling.

CVEP getting out in the Community...
This next week CVEP is involved in two regional events. First, the 7th Annual Cleantech Investor Summit is being held in Indian Wells on January 19th & 20th, and CVEP is a sponsor. Our goal is demonstrate to the attendees why the Coachella Valley was named "the epicenter for renewable energy" by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior.
The second event is the 4th Annual Association of Commercial Real Estate Executives (ACRE) Economic Summit on January 19. CVEP is presenting on behalf of the nine Coachella Valley cities, the topic is "Climate for Success" - the benefits of doing business in the Coachella Valley. |
