
 Empty Space Transformed into a Home
After seeing our successful staging of a vacant studio apartment for one of his listings, Josh Doyle of Corcoran knew we were the right home staging company to call for his new vacant listing at 30 West Street in the Financial District (FiDi).
The apartment has three bedrooms and three and one-half baths, and features views of the Hudson River. Reasonably priced at about $1,000 per square foot, this apartment is in an amenity-laden building with a great public school literally out the back door.
Our demographic research of the typical buyer in this building and in this area revealed young families as the most likely profile.

"As we enter the beginning of the typically strong Spring season, market-wide sales activity picked up significantly in February. Both condo and co-op sales increased compared to last month and last year."

- The median sale price decreased 18% to $1,157,500.
- The average price per square foot increased 8% to $1,473.
- The days on the market decreased 19% to 214.

- Number of contracts signed increased 18% to 421.
Co-ops:
- The median sale price decreased 2% to $651,250.

- The discount from last ask to sale increased 9% to 4.2%.
