Summary: President Obama signed the Government Performance and Results Modernization Act of 2010 into law on Jan. 4, 2011. The law requires all agencies to designate a chief operating officer and a performance improvement officer to oversee efforts to improve management and performance. The law also requires agencies to publish performance reports on a public website.

The survey found that the majority of those surveyed agreed that government documents should be transparent.

IBM Center 2011 Call for Research Report Proposal

The IBM Center is interested in Research Report Proposals in the following areas:

  • Performance improvement and analysis;
  • Workforce transformation;
  • Collaboration and management across boundaries;
