Share your 311/CRM Data Reports
ICMA (a member of the 311 Working Group with PPMRN and PTI) is working with local government to collect data reports from 311/CRM systems. They are collecting any system generated data reports of 311/CRM used for management purposes (number of calls per year, types of complaints, response time, etc.). The inventory of data reports will enable other communities to learn how 311/CRM systems are being addressed by other local governments. If your community is willing to share samples of the 311/CRM data reports, please contact Anna Read at [email protected] or 202-962-3641.

Call for Evaluators
The E-Governance Institute at Rutgers University-Newark is conducting its Second U.S. States/Cities E-Governance Survey in collaboration with the Department of Public Administration at San Francisco State University. The Survey evaluates websites of the 50 American States and the largest municipalities, and compares their rankings on a national e-governance scale.

They are seeking to recruit volunteers who would be interested in surveying websites of states or selected municipalities in each state. Surveyors will have the opportunity to learn about e-governance and related issues such as e-democracy, e-voting, e-bulletin boards, website usability and online citizen participation. Each evaluation can be done within two to three hours and surveyors will be credited in the published results.

If you are interested in participating in the survey, please email [email protected]. The deadline is February 12, 2010. (Please forward this information to your friends and colleagues.)
