Stratton Closes for the Season

So sad to see winter go. So little time for that special run, perfect turn, or sensation of soaring. Modern technology has helped us extend ski season - we plan to ski before overindulging on Thanksgiving turkey and expect to take a few runs after the Easter egg hunt or before joining friends at a Seder. This year, our weather wreaked havoc, creating challenging conditions throughout the winter months for area operators. Our enjoyment was compromised. Still, we had many days of perfect corduroy and blue bird skies. And when we didn't, we had friends to commiserate with, clinics to help us conquer the Vermont powder, more time to shop for new gear and clothes, and more time to savor that cup of coffee or glass of wine....and did we mention work? Stratton went beyond expectations to supplement nature's shortcomings this winter and provided great skiing! I am, as are most of you, going to enjoy the warmer months anxiously awaiting next ski season, watching for the first snowflakes.

the best in their travels and their new home.
They will sincerely be missed!  Mark & Ina......FYI...any winnings in Reno have to shared with the Trailblazers remaining in Vermont!
