Beginning of a New Year and a New Era

After a 16-year stint, Trailblazer President, Mark Katzman has announced that he and Ina are moving from the area. They have bought a home in the Lake Tahoe, Nevada area and will depart right after the Trailblazer Closing Luncheon in March.
Your Board and officers have actively been involved in meetings to assure your club's continued success as the baton is passed. The Trailblazers have always been managed as a joint effort and everyone's suggestions have always been considered - please don't be bashful.
We invite your recommendations, suggestions and nominations as we go through this process. As per our By-Laws, as a past-president, I will continue to help guide the club, attend meetings (by video-conference) and take an active role through the transition and beyond.

Conditions & Ski Report . . .

This season has been one wild ride . . . so far!  Although we do not have all the data to support or debate this, Stratton "probably" has the greatest percentage of lifts and terrain open . . . IN THE COUNTRY!The conditions and ski surface are an unbelievable accomplishment by the Mountain Ops, Snow-Making and Grooming teams!  Yup, we need Mother Nature's help somewhere along the way - but don't hesitate to make the trip - and THIS could be THE weekend. The skiing has been amazingly good and there's plenty of terrain open. |
Bridge . . .

The Bridge sessions are Wednesdays in the "Homeowner's Lounge" this season. The room is in the Base Lodge directly above the Sales Center.  Master Bob Smith returns again for the season and he never disappoints! Lesson begins promptly at 12:30 and we ask your cooperation. As we move to new quarters, it is especially important that you give yourself an extra 15 minutes to allow for any parking or "discovery" issues. |
