Are we rushing things a bit?

Some might argue that it's still fall . . . why the snow?
After all, this IS Vermont and nature is clearly in charge and anything can happen! Can you believe that we're only 6 weeks away from opening day?
Every fall we repeat this - not sure that we are making headway, but this IS important.
* Before you slap those skis on this season - get a binding-release check done by a qualified technician! Know that those bindings will do what they're designed to do and avoid injury!
* Enjoy your first days on the snow more by doing some stretching, drop a few pounds, maybe get out of the car instead of driving past the gym. Avoid injury and know that those muscles will work when you need them.
Skiing requires more than the technique and skills that we've acquired over the years - don't fight the aging process and let your equipment perform at its best.

With Sadness . . .

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of Bill Pulvermacher. Bill was a founding-member and long-time Trailblazer Board Member.
His sound mind helped guide our club through many policy-making decisions and greatly helped expand our membership. He enthusiastically promoted 2,000 (members) by Y-2-K . . or 2,000 by 2000!
Bill enjoyed skiing with us, his kids, grand kids and great grand kids. He lived every day and never let his age dictate what he should, or should not do! We will miss you buddy.

Utah Ski Trip

We have had an amazing response to our February ski trip to Utah. Upscale lodging and ski them all - same price! Our annual membership bulk mailing goes out next week. We are offering this to current and former members first.
