    Irene hits us HARD!

We've all seen the photos, videos and read about the incredible local devastation. It is almost unfathomable to describe. Our tranquil corner of the world will require months and millions to rebuild.

Thanks to the local service organizations, communities and PEOPLE . . . the hands-on work of salvaging is progressing. Neighbors helping neighbors and an incredible Vermont spirit are truly inspiring - almost indescribable!

Stratton Mountain Resort and its president, Sky Foulkes have taken a major role in this process.

Employees who were affected are being directly assisted by the resort.

As President of the Stratton Foundation, Sky has  spearheaded and coordinated the very necessary financial effort. Here's a way to help our mountain communities and give specific instructions. Please set your personal experience or feeling towards the Foundation aside . . . and click on this link.

The Trailblazers have made a sizable contribution - we hope you will consider participating as well.

Our neighbors, groomers, snow-makers and snow-plowers all need our help!

Somewhere under all that water was Rt 30 at the foot of Lower Taylor Hill Road.
