Albert Einstein on taxes: "This is too difficult for a mathematician. It takes a philosopher."
Summer College Application Writing Workshop

Write a college application essay that highlights your unique talents and accomplishments - and that will grab the attention of college admissions committees!

Here's what one parent had to say:

When it came time for my son to write his college application essay, Kevin Dohmen first talked with him about how important it was for the essay to strike an emotional chord with the application committee. He stressed that the essay should reflect my son's personality and interests; it should give the reader a good idea of the type of person my son is, and what he expected to gain from college. My son followed this direction and wrote from his heart. The final version of the essay was touching and smart. My son was accepted to all four of the college music programs he applied for, one with a full scholarship.

Summer Joy of Writing Writing Workshop

This workshop has no prerequisites and is designed for anyone who wants to experience the liberation of writing with expert instruction but without the restrictive rules of school -- and for those looking for an enriching experience of creative writing.

Here's what one parent had to say:

Abby participated in Kevin's writing workshop held during the summer. They met informally to discuss topics, to write, and to share their work with each other.  Kevin has a positive, accepting manner that allows the students to trust him and therefore to risk a little more of themselves.  I highly recommend his program.
