FREE Concert Friday in Des Peres Park!
 The first show of the "Hot Summer Nights, Cool Summer Sounds" concert series features The Fabulous Motown Revue at Des Peres Park this Friday, June 8, 7-9:30 p.m. Bring the family out to enjoy great music in our beautiful park! Overflow parking is available in the Edward Jones garage on Ballas Road. In the event of inclement weather, call 314-835-6102 after 4 p.m. to check the status of the concert. Boy Scout Troop 313 will have concessions available, but you may bring in your own food and drink as well. Alcohol is permitted; no glass bottles please. Hip Hop Dance Camp Starts Monday!
 Bust out on the dance floor with the latest hip hop moves from Jacque Hanlon. This high energy camp will have you dancing like a star! Learn the latest, edgy hip hop moves. Youth Fishing Derby June 16th!
 Dust off your rod and reel and meet us at Des Peres Park for our Annual Youth Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 16! Youth, ages 3-12, can enjoy the morning fishing, participating in the Biggest Fish Contest, raffles and much more! All participants must provide their own fishing pole and bait. Time to Sign Up for Camp Tiny Tots!
 Get ready for arts and crafts, games, playground fun, water days and more at our camp for 3-5 year olds! Children must be toilet trained and 3 years old by June 1; no exceptions please. The morning camp is geared for 3 and 4-year-olds who are first time campers. The afternoon camp is geared for the experienced 4 and 5-year-olds. Nutritious snacks will be shared. Stickstop Lacrosse Camps Filling Fast!
 Stickstop Lacrosse will be conducting lacrosse camps this summer at Des Peres Park. Learn the fundamentals and more advanced techniques of the fastest growing sport in the country from Stickstop's veteran staff. Players will need a helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, stick and mouth guard. Camp sessions are June 25-29 and July 30-August 3, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Registration is taken through Stickstop: www.stickstop.com. |
Try Something New: Fencing Class!
 This class offers an excellent introduction to the Olympic sport of fencing. Often called "physical chess," fencing is a safe and fun activity that hones both the body and the mind. Receive expert training from former National Egyptian Coach, Hossam Hassan. Training will include stretching, drills, supervised fencing bouts, games and other fun activities. Equipment provided.
