OUTDOOR POOL REFRESHERS
 To access the Outdoor Pool for swimming or Outdoor Pool programming, please check in at the Outdoor Pool House. Towels are not provided at the Outdoor Pool, so please be sure to bring your own. To receive the Des Peres Resident daily admission rate at The Lodge, you must have a Lodge-issued Resident ID card. A Des Peres Resident ID card can be purchased for $5 from the front desk in the main lobby. The $5 ID fee pays for your admission the day you purchase it--what a deal! Proof of residency (current driver's license and utility bill) is required to purchase a Resident ID card. Athletic Shoe Drive Ends Friday!
 Those worn-out shoes hanging around your closet may have seen better days, but they haven't seen their last! Instead of tossing them in the trash, drop off your shoes in The Lodge lobby by Friday, June 1, and Hershey's Track & Field in conjunction with Nike Reuse-a-Shoe will get them back in the race as new places to train and play, like running tracks and playgrounds.  The first show of the "Hot Summer Nights, Cool Summer Sounds" concert series features The Fabulous Motown Revue at Des Peres Park next Friday, June 8, 7-9:30 p.m. Bring the family out to enjoy great music in our beautiful park! Camo & Critters Trail Hike!
 Join us on Saturday, June 9, at 10 a.m. for a one-mile trail hike through Phantom Forest and Bittersweet Woods Conservation areas to learn about camouflage and how animals use it to survive. The hike will be lead by Certified Interpretive Guide and Master Naturalist, Aaron Kaminski. All participants will get to hike and make a camouflage craft from natural items in the park. Wiffle Ball League Forming Now!
 This co-rec wiffle ball league at Des Peres Park will consist of a 6-game regular season and post-season playoff game. Umpire, bases, bats and balls provided. Rosters are comprised of 8 players, of which 2 must be female. There are 3 fielders on the field at one time, of which one must be female. Games are played Sundays beginning June 10.
