Hop to Arbor Day and the Egg Hunt!
 Please join us on Saturday, April 7, for our annual Arbor Day celebration at The Lodge, as well as an egg hunt and tree planting at Sugar Creek Park. The Arbor Day festivities at The Lodge include music, crafts, cookies, the World Bird Sanctuary, Smokey Bear and more from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.! Park at The Lodge and a trolley service will be available from 8:30-11:30 a.m. to transport you to the fun at Sugar Creek Park, including the egg hunt at 10 a.m. Click here for a schedule of events! |
New Session of Fit Rev Starting Soon!
 Enjoy a challenging workout in a small group atmosphere using non-traditional exercises in our Fitness Revolution class! Each class consists of intense strength and endurance exercises of the whole body with an emphasis on the core. The 6-week session at City Studio in Des Peres City Hall begins next week with classes offered on Monday at 6 p.m. and Wednesday at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Click here for class details and registration info! |
Find Your Way to Orienteering Class!
 Spring is a great time to explore the great outdoors! Join us for this 3-week mini session at Sugar Creek Park to learn the basics of orienteering. We will review all of the major components of a compass, examine maps and learn to understand their common features. Class takes place 4:30-6:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, March 27. MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Competition!
 Boys and girls, ages 7-14, come test your baseball skills at this fun competition at Des Peres Park! Pitch, Hit & Run is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball! This competition includes pitching, hitting and running for accuracy and distance. Winners can advance to sectional, team and national competitions. The Reel Deal: Fish Ed at Des Peres Park!
 Learn to fish and build on your fishing techniques at our Fish Ed program! We will learn how to tie knots, rig a pole and catch fish! Fish Ed takes place at the Des Peres Park lake dock on Tuesdays, 4:15-5:30 p.m., April 3-24. Equipment, instruction and supervision will be provided for this program. Wednesday T-Ball Clinic Has Spots Open!
 Check out our T-Ball program with a 4:1 child to instructor ratio! This fun, instructional program will introduce 4 & 5-year-olds to the world of baseball/softball. Each player will receive a T-shirt and instruction in fielding, throwing and hitting off of a tee. This 6-week clinic is offered at Sugar Creek Park on Wednesday, 4:15-5 p.m., beginning April 4.
