Zumbatomic Class Starts Monday!
 Kids love to crank up the music, shake, wiggle and have a blast with their friends. So why not get fit while they are at it? Zumbatomic is for youth, ages 7-12, who love to dance! Friday Night Live, Luau Style!
 Attention Middle Schoolers! Get ready for a night of luau-themed fun and games! FNL takes place at The Lodge on Friday, January 13, 6-9 p.m.! This fun event costs only $5 per person and features a Hawaiian costume contest, Zumba, reptile show, limbo contest, 9 Square in the Air, coconut diving contest, music, swimming and pizza! Health Fair & Super Saturday!
 Kick off the New Year with our Healthy Habits Health Fair and Super Saturday Event on January 14! Super Saturday will showcase the services offered by the Fitness and Wellness department such as free body fat testing provided by our Personal Trainers, Free Group Exercise classes, Fit 4 Life Metabolic testing (fees apply), Free Self-Defense class and Community CPR.
The Healthy Habits Health Fair is partnering with Des Peres Hospital, community wellness vendors and our own Lodge Staff to host its 8th annual event. Meet with local Des Peres businesses and organizations to learn ways to lead a healthier lifestyle. Des Peres Hospital will provide free blood pressure and balance screenings from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. and free cholesterol, blood glucose and PSA screenings from 8-10 a.m. All Des Peres Hospital screenings will require appointments by calling 1-888-457-5203. Children's Hospital: Babysitting 101!
 Considering hiring a new babysitter? Enroll him or her in this St. Louis Children's Hospital class at The Lodge to encourage the best care for your child. This class is a great introduction to the basics of babysitting. A 28-page workbook is provided. Topics include: the business of babysitting; child development; safety and first aid; fun and games. The class is $30 and takes place Saturday, January 21, 1-5 p.m., at The Lodge. Pre-registration is required by calling 314.454.KIDS. |
Easy Social Dance Classes Forming Now!
 The Lodge is offering Line Dancing and West Coast Swing classes beginning Tuesday, January 31! These dances are easy to learn, a fun calorie burner and a nice way to meet new friends. Don't be afraid if you're a beginner - these classes are suitable for everyone and it's a good workout too!
