Youth Basketball League Filling Fast!
 The Lodge currently has a few remaining spaces in our Winter Youth Basketball League for girls, ages 7 and 8. Games take place on Saturdays from January 21-March 10. Sugar Creek Playground Construction!
 The City of Des Peres is installing a new playground in Sugar Creek Park. Construction will be ongoing until April 7, 2012. This new nature-themed playground will make Sugar Creek a unique destination park for kids in the area! During construction, the Dougherty Ferry entrance to the park will be closed, so visitors must use the Des Peres Road entrance. Part of the park path will be closed as well, so please heed all signs and remain out of fenced areas for your safety. The restrooms and path will be available, but users will not be able to make a complete loop on pavement. Thank you for your patience while we improve your park! Please take this opportunity to visit some of our other city parks. Construction completion is weather dependent and we will update our website with a current schedule as needed. |
Winter Break Mad Science Camp!
 "Chemicals, Cells & Crime" Mad Science Camp introduces you to life in the form of cells and organs along with a lot of crazy chemistry. This is not a science class--Mad Science is a FUN learning experience! Our hands-on science activities and entertaining instructors get children excited about science. Campers are actively involved in performing experiments and camp-related projects. Let your child experience just how fun science can be! Camp takes place at The Lodge, December 27-30, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Enrollment is limited, so register today! |

 Are you looking for one-on-one swim instruction for you or your child? Private Swim Lessons are the answer! We offer 30-minute private lessons for all ages and skill levels. Our Swim Lesson Coordinator will make arrangements for a time that works best for you. Please complete our online swim lesson form or stop by the front desk to pick one up. Holiday Hoops Basketball Camp!
 Boys and girls, ages 8-13, are invited to work on all phases of their game during this winter break camp, December 27-30. Participants will take part in drills, games, video analysis and instruction. Campers will receive expert instruction from the head girl's basketball coach for Maplewood-Richmond Heights, Coach Phil Crawford. Come join us for an exciting four days of basketball in The Lodge gym, 8:30-11:30 a.m.! Please bring a water bottle and non-perishable snack.
