Another Round of Lessons Begins Aug. 4!
 Our golf program is suited for players of all skills and abilities. Each student will receive individual instruction catered to meet their goals. Topics include, but are not limited to: equipment basics, pre-swing fundamentals, in-swing techniques and drills for improvement. Enjoy covered tee boxes at Big Bend Golf Center! The new session of Thursday night golf lessons begins August 4, so register now! |
Youth Dance Sign-Up Begins Next Week!
 Our 24-week youth dance program offers an entire school year of instruction in the fine art of dance with Jacque Hanlon. First semester (Sep-Dec) emphasizes rhythmic training, coordination, grace and posture. Second semester (Jan-Apr) emphasizes dance routines in preparation for the spring recital on Saturday, April 21, at The Lodge. Registration begins next week! |
Adult Volleyball League Starts Soon!
 This co-rec league will consist of a 7-game regular season, and a post-season play-off game. The league will be played on Friday nights, beginning August 12, with games at 6:15 pm, 7:15 pm or 8:15 pm. Mad Science Secret Agent Day Camp!
 Children can begin a fun journey into the world of detection, spy science and forensics. Join the Mad Science Bureau of Investigations to sniff out forgeries and counterfeits! Practice detective skills with the cool take-home fingerprint-dusting kit! Learn how to decipher numbers to send secret messages to your friends. Camp is for ages 5-12 and runs 9 am-3 pm. The Dirt On Composting!
 Many of us reduce, reuse and recycle fabricated items, but we still throw away all of our food scraps. Why waste the scraps, when you can turn them into great fertilizer to add to your potting soil? We will supply you with a bin, worms and bedding and show you how to create your own composting system. Class is 6-8 pm on Tuesday, August 9, at Sugar Creek Park .
