One Day in Life of Wichita
Cowtown's Wichita City Eagle building will be a hub of activity during Frozen in Time on May 28.

Old Cowtown Museum staff are gearing up for the museum's second communitywide event of the year on May 2
8: Frozen in Time.

This is a new event to Cowtown's spring/summer calendar and it may create a feeling of deja vu on the grounds. All activities will mirror events that took place in Wichita on May 28, 1872.

Staff carefully sifted through editions of the Wichita City Eagle and Wichita Daily Beacon to find out what happened in Wichita on that day. There were weddings and funerals and a lot of business activity. To find out more, you'll just have to come to the event!

Cowtown will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission rates are: $7.75, adults, $6.50 senior citizens; $6, youth 12-17; $5.50, children 4-11; and free for children under 4 and Cowtown members.

North Wins -- Again!
