Florida, Florida, Florida Florida In Your Pocket now on-sale in the App Store
Just in time for summer, welcome to the Sunshine State. Florida+ provides you with contact, staff, campaign and biographical information.
FloridaPro keeps you updated for one full year. See them in iTunes.
This is a special application for me as I lived and worked (and yes, voted) in the state after I graduated from the University of Florida. I have many, many good friends (some of whom work in or for the legislature) and relatives living there.
We are in development with folks in many other states, including Illinois, Texas, and Oklahoma. Check out this map to see what's coming up next. Please email us if you would like to be a state partner.

What's in Development Better search capabilities; committees in state versions
The more I work with our applications, the more I feel like I should be able to do more with them. As one might expect, you agree with us. We are in active development focused on adding two major features that will improve the way you can find information in the applications and expand our state databases to include committee assignments in Plus and Pro versions. Once the prototypes are available, we'll post links in our Twitter feed.
Below are some of the highlights:
- You will be able to search for the names of staffers in addition to members of Congress and state legislatures.
- You'll be able to do searches for names of committees and subcommittees (e.g. health).
- Biographical information will be fully searchable.
- State versions will have committee and subcommittee assignments listed.
- You will be able to sort by district number in state versions, not just by district name.
We continue to benefit from your feedback both in the App Store and from the surveys we have in each application. Please take a few minutes to let people know what you think, including us. We take your ideas and suggestions very seriously and want to make these the best political applications in the App Store.

Macworld Review "... a one-stop shop of vital data on the current administration"
President In Your Pocket was reviewed in Macworld and featured in their App Guide over the July 4th weekend. They liked it and so have you, making it already the third top-selling app we offer (thank you!). Reviewer Ben Boychuk laid out what's inside: "The app features an extensive database packed with information on key White House staffers and cabinet secretaries." You get over 100 of President Barack Obama's top administration officials and their key deputies right in your pocket.
We continue to support our applications beyond their initial release and President in Your Pocket is no exception. As Mr. Boychuk said, "The business of government continues apace, so the app will grow as the administration does." We agree. Please send us names of people you would like in the directory and we will continue to add them throughout the Obama administration.
We appreciate the ratings you have given us in iTunes. Personally, I am surprised how often these mean a lot to me when I purchase applications. Please keep rating your all of applications and providing us valuable feedback so we can improve. Here is a link to our website for more media reviews.

BlackBerry and Custom Lists Don't have an iPhone or iPod Touch? No problem.
We are finding more and more people contacting us without Apple devices but wanting the information we provide either on their BlackBerry or for their own grassroots efforts. We now offer all of our applications for use on BlackBerry devices and provide custom versions of the database as a one-time use or via yearly subscriptions.
The BlackBerry versions of our applications are paid web services formatted for speed and ease of use. We offer individual subscriptions, group rates, and education discounts. Visit our website and click on the application you are interested in for more information and screenshots for BlackBerry devices.
Custom lists are now available at varying rates depending upon what information you need and how often you would like it updated. As with our applications, we were surprised by how much other companies are selling this kind of information, even in a recession. Our lists are based on the databases we collect ourselves, which power our applications so you know we keep them current.
