Greetings!
PHDC's three-Tuesday election event series is over, endorsements have been voted on and posted, and we hope we've helped to inform the electorate a little bit. The election is still almost seven weeks away, and there's plenty to do. Read on. Joni Eisen, President Potrero Hill Democratic Club |
ENDORSEMENTS SHOULD MEAN SOMETHING
| | Ways to support the Club's choices: Onek reception in Bernal Heights; Cunnie merchant walk and Herrera mobilization, both in Potrero Hill
Saturday, October 24:
Chris Cunnie for Sheriff
We will be having a merchant walk in Potrero Hill with Supervisor Malia Cohen this Saturday, 9/24. We will start at 2 pm at Kate's Closet at 1331 18th St. We would love to have you or any other members of the club join us!! _______________________________________________________
Sunday, October 2:
Dennis Herrera for Mayor
Potrero Hill/Dogpatch
Mobilization
Potrero Hill is the heart of Dennis Herrera's Mayoral Campaign - join neighbors, friends, and members of PHDC as we help spread the word about why Dennis Herrera is the Mayor We Need. For nearly 10 years as City Attorney, Dennis has utilized his office to protect San Francisco from powerful interests - from corrupt public officials and city contractors, to criminal gangs and huge corporations. Let's get the word out and identify voters!!!
WHEN: Sunday, October 2 @ 11 AM WHERE: Potrero Hill Neighborhood House 953 De Haro Street San Francisco, CA

ANOTHER DOOR HANGER IN THE WORKS | | Some election lit that neighbors actually appreciated
Remember this? At the Sept. 13th speaker-filled ballot measure endorsement meeting, the membership also voted to produce and walk another door hanger, and to continue the endorsement ads in the View that people have come to expect. It is this club's (possibly unique) policy NOT to ask endorsed candidates and ballot measure campaigns for money to produce our slate cards; it smacks of "bought" endorsements, and looks that way to the public. So, we're asking YOU and your friends: If you would like to help us get our endorsements out there, please send a check, made out to "Potrero Hill Democratic Club PAC," to 1459 - 18th St #152, SF 94107. Thank you!
