Greetings!

Happy Valentine Weekend! Purple-leaf plums are in bloom all over the Hill - should be San Francisco's official tree. February is so full of opportunities to get out and get involved; it's amazing how many notices have crossed my desk(top) recently. Don't let a little rain stop you. I hope to see you out there.

FEB. 2nd MEETING FOLLOWUP
Calling a Constitutional Convention, protecting Starr King Openspace, running in District 10...

John deCastro of Repair California gave a comprehensive overview of the movement to call a "limited" Constitutional Convention, only focused on governance issues. The campaign is collecting signatures for the November ballot - and did so that night.

Caroline Bird and Andie Grace of the new Starr King Openspace Board spoke about the serpentine grassland habitat belonging to all the residents of Potrero Hill, which has seen exciting changes recently both in the structure of the nonprofit and in the stewardship of the land. Contacts were made, volunteers were activated.

More candidates for Supervisor of District 10: February 2nd, we heard from Espanola Jackson, Tony Kelly, and Lynette Sweet. Stay tuned - more to come. Later in the year we'll present at least one candidate forum. For audios of all 13 candidate introductions to date, scroll down the website homepage.
