PHDC is collecting for the Food Bank again this year! According to the Food Bank's web site, the most-needed donations are: canned tuna, meats, fruit and vegetables; soups, stews, and chili; rice and pasta; peanut butter; cereal. No glass containers please.

Wellstone Democratic Renewal Club in Oakland is asking us to call Senators Boxer and Feinstein, ideally before Thanksgiving, in order to create a loud chorus of Democratic Party activist voices supporting medicare for all and opposing limitations on reproductive rights.

I think this is a great idea and I hope you do too. The senators depend on us to support their campaigns - we are the foot soldiers of the Democratic Party and we matter to them.
