MCMS announces its new, user-friendly Web site!

The Maricopa County Medical Society (MCMS) is excited to introduce our completely revamped Web site, which will provide visitors to the site more user-friendly tools, more information, and the ability to find out what the Society is doing, along with our re-branding efforts.

The underlying philosophy to the new site is to enhance the delivery of pertinent information to physician members and the community; upgrade and install new tools; and make existing content easier to find and more accessible to site visitors. Organizational design was also made a priority, as can be noticed in the Web site's effectively positioned borders surrounding the different sections and prominence in placement. This separation of the information makes distinguishing between areas on the main pages effortless.

The "look and feel" was deliberately kept low key so that it does not completely overshadow important new content. Also note the Medical Society's new tag line/mission statement located at the top of the page.

This newsletter will focus on the new features of the Web site, along with the dynamic meshing of the old with a new, fresher version.
MCMS Brand
In the coming months, many changes will be taking place within the Society and its businesses services (GACCP, BME, MedaBytes, Round-up) with the retooling of marketing and branding efforts. This new Web site is an introduction and a "sneak peak" of what we have in store. We are very excited for these invigorating changes, and hope you will be too!
User Friendly and Organized
Bothered by having to go from page to page to find information? Our fresh new Web site has taken that problem out of your hands! You will find everything on the homepage - renew your membership; search for a physician; review archives of InforMed Society; MCMS' Family of Businesses; all will be one click away. Organization is important to us, but if you find anything that we missed, please let us know!
From the CEO
Check out the new From the CEO section on our site. Dan Mitten, MCMS' CEO, will post monthly messages on national and local healthcare issues, events going on within the Society and other pressing matters. Make sure to check back often!
Physician Search
The Physician Search option on our Web site has been revamped to be more operationally efficient and also it also has a PDF export option if you want to print out a couple referrals for patients. All of the physician information is provided by the physician or their staff. If you view any errors, please email us any updates. In a few months, physicians will be able to do all revisions online!

This year, in an effort to continually provide the most up-to-date information in a more user and eco-friendly format, we are switching from a printed version to a web-based format of the Pictorial Membership Referral Directory. It is still the same directory you've come to depend on over the years, only reformatted for today's electronic age.

Members received a correction form, via mail. Please make sure to review it, update if necessary and send it back to us by December 1, 2010.
Twitter Feed

Not a fan of Twitter, but like to view up-to-date information from all over? Our home page also has a newly installed Twitter feed that is updated a few times a day. Check it out, some great information is available to you!
