COMMENTARY
Diane Schwartz
Our Next Generation of Leaders

What can be better than working with young leaders!

The passion, the interest and the strong commitment to diversity, valuing difference and respect for all are common traits we see in the high school and college young adults who complete participation in American Conference on Diversity Youth Leadership Institute programs.

The curiosity about difference, in an interested and accepting way, is something to behold. Just matter of fact - this is you and this is me - the way all of us could benefit from treating each other.

As a society although we are moving in this direction, we should follow the lead of the next generation of leaders - our children. They view difference as something to explore and understand and that is what our programs help them do.

We are proud to "educate and empower the next generation of leaders" as we say it. Not only will they be ready to lead their peers, your employees, neighbors and friends; but also, they are now moving in the direction of leading us.

We can learn a lot from our children. Our society is changing so rapidly, let's set the pause button. Let's stop, learn a lesson or two and listen to the next generation of leaders.
