Soulmate

Have you found yours?

Over 80% of people believe that they have a soulmate waiting for them. Do you believe you have a soulmate? How do you define soulmate?

Through my spiritual/intuitive practice, I have gained an insightful perspective on what a soulmate is and what can be learned from this meaningful relationship.

Soulmate....when we are referring to the concept, we must first look at the human soul. The soul has great depth....like many layers that need connection, healing, learning, and love. The soul is complex and magical, but yet simple and pure, all at the same time. It is always under constant work...always evolving.

Therefore, when we think of the term soulmate...it is much more multifaceted than the simple idea of just having one person fill this piece within you forever. There are actually soulmates around us all the time. The idea of a true soulmate is a person that matches your need for growth at the moment. They actually fulfill part of your souls purpose for being here on earth. When you go through a period of growth and transition...whether emotional, spiritual, physical or mental in form, we encounter people in our path that are there to help guide us. Some of us are closed to "seeing" these people...in other words, they aren't open to the possibility of allowing others to come in and aid them in the needed transformation. When we are open, soulmates appear in our lives at the right moment. It is a joining of spirits that unite energetically for the purpose of enlightenment.

Some of you may have married your soulmate on one or many levels, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he or she will fulfill every growth you have for the rest of your life. Don't limit yourself. Continue to allow your soul the opportunity to seek and receive others that may help you transcend where you are in the moment. Remember, drop the idea that  a soulmate is only someone you marry or have intimate relations with....a true soulmate may only be in your life for a short period of time.

There is always room for growth in this amazing earth school we live in.

I ask you this....are you ready to be a good soulmate to someone else?

Encourage soulful growth...pass this on :)

Meet Katie Maatta. She is the owner of Pilates Corps. Read below to find out why Pilates is so good for the mind and body!

Katie Maatta

Pilates Corps (pronounced "core", as in Marine Corps) is a fully equipped Scottsdale, Arizona studio dedicated to teaching the authentic method of Pilates. The studio was opened in September of 2007 by Katie Maatta.  Katie became interested in Pilates after trying a class at a gym in Chicago in 2001. Though she loved the exercises, she would have difficulty moving her neck for the next several days after every class. She decided to do some research and found the authentic method taught in a Certification Center in Evanston, IL. This resulted in her own Pilates certification in March of 2003.  She trained under Juanita Lopez of Chicago and Romana Kryzanowska and Sari Mejia-Santo of NYC. She has taught in Chicago and owned her own studio in Las Vegas.

Pursuing this method changed Katie's body.  Pilates is a complete workout system focusing on building strength and flexibility. On top of that, it works on your posture and alignment which helped to reverse some of the curvature in Katie's spine, as she was diagnosed with scoliosis in early adolescence.  Her clients agree that the benefits are unparalleled....

Bill Absher recently began Pilates with Beth Bliss, an instructor at Pilates Corps, and has completed over 20 sessions.  Here is a testimonial from him:

"With Beth's encouragement and outstanding instruction, I overcame my early challenges and have just enrolled for my third package of 10 personal sessions.  I am happy to say that I am now 'scooping' and engaging my powerhouse with the best of them.  Thanks so much for operating a studio where even I now feel very comfortable training.  Your business success has translated into personal improvement of my health.  I now carry myself better, have less occasion to visit a chiropractor, and have diminished pain in my back.  At Christmas my sister, whom I had not seen for six months, commented that I looked leaner and, of all things, taller.  I'm probably just finally walking with correct posture, thanks to Beth and your studio.  I wish you continued good luck with your business in the future!"

Meet Artist, Kathryn Henneman

Kathryn Henneman was born in Prescott, Arizona. She lived a corporate existence in business, healthcare and interior design before her inaugural art show in 1985, on cinco de Mayo, in Westood, California.

Starting with chalk pastels on Italian hand-made rag paper, Henneman moved to one-of-a-kind monoprints. Then she advanced to richly textured, large-scale oil on canvas paintings. Hennemans's self-taught career in art covers a wide swath of styles.

She believes the eye can consume art as food is consumed by the mouth. "There is a certain heat in my work. I see paints as salsas, as secret sauces and the canvas as a banquet table," she said.

Henneman says that she is blessed to be a self-supported artist and is grateful to those who have chosen the work she's created to be part of their lives. Her paintings hang in the Northern Trust Bank corporate office, Phoenix, Az; 816 Congress, Austin, TX; The Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong; The Sheraton Grand Hotel in Tokyo and in Disney Studios, Burbank, Ca.

She has art shows in Florence and Rome, Italy; Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Century City, Palm Springs, California; Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona.

"From the matrix of reality and imagination, I interweave canvas, gravity, and celestial elements in order to understand the soul of humanity"
