IMAGINATION
Do you use it?
Remember using your imagination as a child? It was so much fun to play in a fantasy land and create anything you wanted. There were no limits, no boundaries to your ideas, thoughts, and beliefs. It was joyful and magical and best of all....you were in complete control. Have you closed the door to this imaginative world? Do you remember how old you were when you finally stopped tapping into this imaginative wonderland? Maybe your parents told you that you were too old to play "make believe" or possibly you started to notice that you were the only one that still had an imaginary friend. Whatever the reason, I encourage you to allow your imagination to blossom once again...and here's why!
Our imagination is one of our greatest assets! It is through our imagination that we begin the true creative process. Think about it....every idea that has ever been born was birthed through imagination. All of our technologies, businesses, scientific discoveries are all a direct result of the power of imagination. When Alexander Graham Bell had his first imaginative idea about creating a telephone, I'm sure it must have seemed pretty crazy to many.....or when the Wright Brothers dreamed up the idea of building an airplane, I guarantee there were people that believed it could never be done. During their lifetime, these ideas may have seemed outlandish, but when cultivated, they helped to change the world.
Practice strengthening your imaginative skills again. Begin by letting yourself expand your desires...making them bigger than life. What makes your heart sing, what brings you true joy? What do you really want to be doing with your life? Whatever it is, begin to see it...imagine it...let the ideas create a picture and allow these pictures to take shape in your mind as a scene. Pretend it's a movie that you are watching play out in your mind. Within your imagination, lies your own unique, creative, genius. So take the time to play a little...imagine yourself as a powerful piece of this great universe. Imagine that! |

This months Mind, Body,Spirit meeting will be held at my home on May 20th at 6:00 p.m.
The topic this month will be on Imagination. Come practice some exercises on how to increase your imaginative potential.
Also...this month bring with you a pot with potting soil in it. We will be planting vegetable seeds to grow our own personal garden. One night, in the late summer, we will come together to share a salad from our assorted
vegetables. You are welcome to bring a bottle of wine this month to share with the group during our planting.
