Following up on my message of May 25th, the Beach Erosion and Restoration Task Force just yesterday secured authorization from the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to distribute the sand which we harvested in April.  The long awaited task of grading the beach will finally begin!

For those of you who have kayaks on the sand piled against the wall, we ask that you be be on the watch for grading work being done within the week and be prepared to move your craft as necessary.
