KSQ Architects and Triton Construction presented a status update on the RHS Science Classroom Addition Project Progress, noting that the plans are moving along productively. KSQ also shared a video illustrating the external facade of the building. The District will keep the community informed as further developments are made.

Special Recognitions
Board of Education President Laura Slack presented certificates to Josh Nathan and Ray Schmitt, who will both retire from their seats on the Board as of July 2. Mrs. Slack shared remarks about each of them, noting their contributions to the Board and District. She noted that Mr. Schmitt, who served as Vice President this past year, supported the District through the passing of the bond, the appointment of a new superintendent, and the development and approval of a below-tax cap budget. Mrs. Slack then announced that Mr. Nathan has served on the Board for nine years, three of which he was President, and two of which he was Vice President. In discussing Mr. Nathan's commitment to education in Rye, Mrs. Slack explained that he contributed to the addition of FLES and Mandarin, expansion of the performing arts curriculum, and changes to the math curriculum. He was also at the helm for many renovations, settling the Osborn litigation, and saw the District through many successful school years.
Contract Agreement

Mrs. Slack announced that the Board of Education and the Rye Teachers Association (RTA) Secretarial, Clerical, School Nurses and Computer Aides (SCSNCA) Unit have reached a new contract agreement
