Re-cap of Capital Project and Bond Vote

At the January 10 meeting, Dr. Shine provided a recap of the capital project and bond vote. At the January 17 meeting, he presented a summarized version of this report, reflecting on the challenges of gaining support for the bond and what needs to be considered in terms of next steps.

District Capital Planning Status Update

Armand Quadrini of KSQ Architects presented a District Capital Planning Status Update outlining a reduced bond proposal and comparing it to the 2011 bond referendum. The proposed 2012 bond presents a smaller scope with a significant reduction in costs while still addressing the enrollment and science issues the MS/HS campus is facing.
