Rye High School Principal Patricia Taylor and Assistant Principal for Guidance Robert McKiernan presented a College Placement Report highlighting college application statistics. They reported that for the Class of 2012, 974 total college applications were submitted as of December 7. Of these applications, 488 were early action/priority, and 88 were early decision. The report also summarized achievements, Advanced Placement statistics, academic changes, and initiatives at the High School. Mrs. Taylor announced that Ann Fleming Brown will visit the High School on January 5, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center, for a program offering insight about the college admission program.
