You've seen the Handicapped Scuba Association logo on HydroSports website for many years. Are you aware that HydroSports has provided scuba experiences and training to dozens of wounded veterans and individuals with disabilities over the years? Do you know that Mark Fischer is a Handicapped Scuba Association Course Director? Do you remember that Jim Elliott of the Diveheart Foundation conducted training for several of our staff members?

 

We are proud to be named the exclusive Oceanic Wounded Warrior Dive Center in Marion County. In partnership with Oceanic Worldwide's introduction of the USA line of masks, snorkels and fins, HydroSports stands ready to provide scuba training to Wounded Warriors in Oregon. Oceanic's new USA line of dive gear is on the way to dealers across the country. Seven percent of the purchase of USA dive gear will fund grants available to veterans to subsidize participation in scuba certification. We're waiting for final details of the grant program developed by Oceanic and the Department of Veteran's Affairs.
