Greetings!

The snow is falling off and on this morning but that's not slowing us down at all.
2011 has kicked off with a bang and we're all running to keep up. Our January classes were full, February classes are in full swing and March classes at HydroSports, Albany Scuba and Western Oregon University are filling up.
We have several special events planned for the next few weeks, we've added a Wreck dive trip to Nanaimo, BC and I've reserved Mike Lever's new boat, the Nautilus Swell for a week next year to my personal favorite dive destination in the Pacific Northwest, Seymour Inlet.
If you're looking for diving opportunities, classes or exposure to exciting and challenging elements of the dive world, look no farther than HydroSports. Our education team is ready to help you reach your diving goals and dreams.
Let me know how we can help.

Go Tech/Go Rebreather Night!
Monday night, February 28, 6 to 7:30 PM |
Ever wonder why a diver would strap on 200 cubic feet of gas and drop beyond the recreational dive limit of 132 feet? What's the fuss with trimix? Decompression diving? Do divers using rebreathers really get better pictures or get closer to fish? What's it like diving 300 feet below the surface?
Join us this coming Monday night at 6 PM to learn about Tech diving and Rebreather diving from two experts, Jon Daane, PADI Course Director and Tech instructor. Hear from Ken Rymal, HydroSports Instructor, with over 300 tech dives in his log book on open circuit trimix and one of his two rebreathers.
We'll hear about the training involved in Tech diving and learn what it takes to teach Tech diving.
Pizza and soda will be served. Please RSVP by calling or emailing Mark Fischer. |
