Greetings!
Fall is here and 2009 is wrapping up. HydroSports has had a year filled with successes, challenges and growth. Opportunities have been placed on the table and the team at HydroSports has risen to the task.
Our success is not possible without each of you, our friends, our partners, our staff and our families. We are deeply grateful for your energy, enthusiasm and contributions.
As we look forward to 2010, we are excited by the new challenges, opportunities and expansion we see in our crystal ball. We plan to grow our business and to give back to our community. Your participation will allow HydroSports to bring you more services, more products, more travel and more diving.
We wish you a warm and rewarding Thanksgiving with your friends and family.
Sincerely,
Mark Fischer and all the HydroSports Team HydroSports Dive and Travel 503-304-5383 |
Operation: Love Boxes for our Troops
Do you have a family member serving in the Middle East? |
Our troops are in harms way.
Doing their job.
Protecting our safety.
Serving as ambassadors for America.
Whether we agree with the politics of the mission, we all support our troops.
I recently learned about Operation: Love Boxes for our Troops and have sent boxes as an individual.
I want to invite each of you to share the mission of sending Love Boxes for our Troops. Click HERE to learn about this program. Go to the PHOTOS page and click on The Love Box Story.
Join me Thursday December 10 at 6 PM and help me pack 50 Love Boxes for our Troops. Bring items suggested on the Love Box web site. I'll have boxes, tape and address labels.
One does not need to be a diver or friend of HydroSports to participate. Please invite your friends, family members and co-workers to join us. If you cannot join us December 10, please bring items for our Love Boxes in advance of the packing party. Let's send our support to our soldiers.
PS. If you have a friend or family member serving in the Middle East, please forward their mailing address to me. |

Club Meeting Dec.3: Medical Mission 2010: 2009 Fiji Trip Report |

Most people think of Fiji as an island paradise, but there are many children in area villages who are in tremendous need of medical and dental care. Mark Fischer, owner of Keizer's HydroSports Dive and Travel, wants to put together a team of "underwater ambassadors" and medical professionals to help those children living in the villages near some of his group's most cherished dive locations.
Please join us at the HydroSports Dive Club meeting December 3, 2009, from 6:30 to 8 PM to learn about the vision of the program and to hear how you can combine your profession, passion and also receive tax benefits as a result of participating in or donating to this medical mission. Enjoying, appreciating and learning about preserving the beautiful, natural landscape above and below water will also be discussed. Click HERE for more details.
DIVE Northwest, a 501 (c)3 non-profit and HydroSports Dive and Travel located in Keizer, Oregon, are spearheading an effort to bring two teams of doctors, dentists, optometrists and pharmacists and their associated support staff to Korovisilu, Fiji, May 2010. The 400 + children attending school in Korovisilu Village have limited access to routine or preventative medical, dental or vision care. The project's goal is to hold a week long clinic to provide care to students and faculty of the school and village and enjoy some of the best diving in the world.
To join the Medical Mission interest list please contact Mark Fischer at 503-304-5383 or mark@hydrosports.com. |
