A pot luck dinner starts at 6:30, the meeting at 7 PM. Everyone with an interest in snorkeling, diving and the marine environment is invited.
Our most recent Open Water and Advanced Open Water Divers will be officially "Graduating" at the start of the meeting. Help us celebrate their accomplishments.

Free Open Water Certification Dives |

You can complete the (1) Academic and (2) Confined Water portions of the scuba course in Keizer before arriving for your cruise, then with a referral from HydroSports, complete the (3) Open Water Training portion onboard with Nekton in clear warm tropical waters at no charge. After just four open water check out dives with a Nekton instructor, you will become a certified diver!
With 5 opportunities to dive almost every day, new divers can complete their check out dives in no time - and then are free to dive at every opportunity thereafter.
* Learn to Dive for Free - Nekton will reimburse HydroSports $150 for your referral to Nekton. It is your responsibility to ensure that all necessary Medical Statements are completed by your physician and that official referral forms are completed and signed by your local dive instructor prior to arrival onboard.

Annual SCUBA Rally |
|
Every July we gather at the Big Cliff Reservoir for an underwater Scuba Rally. If you've ever gone on a car rally or gone looking for a geocache, you'll love the Scuba Rally. We set up five underwater skill stations and ask buddy teams to travel from one to the next performing a skill or task. At the final station, each diver pulls a numbered ball from a bag. The number corresponds to a prize donated by our vendors.
The Scuba Rally takes place this year on July 19. The Rally Fee is $10 plus two cans of food to be donated to the Marion-Polk Food Share Program.
HydroSports provides a barbecue lunch and gives every participating diver a token for two free air fills, a $10 value. |

Moonlight Dive at Clear Lake |

Join us Saturday night, August 8, for a dive under a nearly full moon and enjoy horizontal visibility I've personally measured at over 287 feet.
Imagine watching your shadow being cast by moonlight on the bottom of the lake. Kris says diving Clear Lake is like diving over the surface of the moon!

Dive the Oregon Coast Aquarium with HydroSports and Diving Unlimited International August 21 to 23.
Participate in a test dive of a DUI Dry Suit in the main exhibit tanks of the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
