HydroSports Dive and Travel February 2009 Update
Greetings!

Looking into a crystal ball can produce an uncertain vision. Reading the financial headlines might cause us to want to crawl into bed and pull the blankets over our head. Listening to our President, we hear cautious optimism and hope. I, for one, have always believed that we each have a significant amount of control of our lives and well-being.

Some of HydroSports friends have experienced layoffs, reduction in hours or are uncertain about their work futures. As we all experience the uncertainties of the present economic challenges, we all need to work together to keep our families, communities and businesses strong.

We do this by showing and telling our family that we love them every day. We do this by showing our friends and co-workers that we respect and care for them. We do this by being involved with our neighborhoods and communities by volunteering and contributing our resources when possible.

Our economy is largely driven by consumer spending, buying groceries, fuel, shoes, and education. We all need to contribute to our local economy by investing with local merchants. Keeping your dollars in the Salem-Keizer business community your dollars roll over 6 to 7 times as local shops pay employees, taxes and buy merchandise to resell.

I'll get off my soap box now and invite you to visit HydroSports. Your reward for your hard work might be a fun dive with Matt or Jeff or Carol. Your reward might be sharing your diving passion with a friend or family member. Allow the HydroSports team to help you reach (and share) your diving goals and dreams.

Sincerely,

Mark Fischer
