Many of you who expressed an interest in serving in a Club leadership capacity. The consensus opinion of the meeting January 13 was that we should elect three officers who will direct the club and elect members of several committees to support club events. By spreading the management load, it is hoped that no one person will carry an excessive load and that the leadership team will develop and mature as the club grows.

 

If you are interested in serving in a leadership role, please forward a brief statement of your vision for the club, your diving education, experience related to the position which interests you and any other comments that give the club members a overview of the skill set you bring to the club. Because you responded to the original survey you are being invited to the follow-up meeting January 27 at 7 PM at HydroSports. We'll collectively review the nominations and self-nominations and develop a ballot for consideration at the next club meeting, February 10.

 
We had a great exchange of ideas and we look forward to building a vibrant and active club.
