Preparing to Receive Healing: The Natural and Organic Evolutionary Process
Selection 1
Now, there is a very natural process [for] which human
beings were invited into this world - prepared for this world through various
evolutionary processes. You arrived in a place and a
time and a form which is called the human realm. We happen to think that the
human realm, as a preparation stage, a place to learn something careful, is a
pretty nice place to be.
Your arrival in this world made you a candidate for a
natural and organic process of evolutionary development in your actual being. You
would be facilitating (this process) on the outside by actions you perform with each other.
Your major lessons in this world are first of all, how to get along with each
other, and second of all, the nature of compassion. These are your two big
lessons to learn in the human realm.
We talk about compassion, compassion,
compassion. This is the major lesson that you need to learn, as well as developing
the skills to become another kind of living being (an enlightened being.)

The Natural and Organic Process: Advice to Healers
|
|
Selection 2
You know, some people have been meditators in previous
lives and gotten to some very nice levels of attainment - so much so that
people say that they're psychic and they've been psychic since they were a
child. However, this does you no good. It does you no good [only] to
develop the psychic abilities [on their own]. [These abilities] are connected
to the preparation stages for inner senses which you will need in your future
form (as an enlightened being) in your actual being. Did I make that too complicated?
Your actual being is the holder of these inner senses
in the preparation stage. Whether an individual has had these abilities from a young
age, or developed them in this lifetime, they are often misappropriated for
personal gain. Like that, you need to have an understanding about where these
abilities belong. They do not belong to you; they belong to your actual being. Through a special process
of reflection, from time to time you will seem
to know things that you shouldn't be able to know.
You will have awarenesses of energy, or you will have hands
that are capable of producing effects in others, or you will be able to see
things that seem very unusual for human beings to see. Ordinary human beings
can't do it. You can only do it because your actual being is reflecting some of
its learning to you on the outside. Who do they belong to? Do these abilities
belong to you? The answer of course is "no." For people who are healers, such as
the group we have assembled here, you
cannot misappropriate these (without a negative consequence.) This weekend we'll be discussing your abilities to
heal, and you cannot appropriate them or a different kind of process will
arise. I don't know if I explained that carefully enough, but it is meaningful.

The Natural and Organic Process: Receptivity to Being Healed
|
|
Selection 3
Now, the other part of this weekend is how this natural
process, which helped you become part of the human realm in the first place,
relates to receptivity in yourself to healing. So many
complicated issues have arisen due to respect for enlightenment or the natural
process, that we no longer look at the natural process but in fact, we look at
all of the ceremonies surrounding the natural process.
That natural process built into you a certain kind of
openness to being healed. Doesn't that make sense? If you're supposed to be on
an evolutionary journey, why would the greatness of the process try to make it
hard for you? The greatness of the process tries to make it easy for you. That
means that somewhere built in you, no matter how much you may have tried to
hide it, there is an openness to being healed. It's part of your genetic
makeup.

The Natural and Organic Process: The Present Moment
Selection 4
Don't let the bugaboo king come and snap your door closed
by telling you this is not powerful enough, or this is not high status, or it's
not enough money, or this person said this or that (and it hurt me.) Or "I'm not getting respect" or
"I can't trust, so therefore I can't be open because I can't trust this one or
that one." Or "I couldn't trust that one 30 years ago, so how could I possibly
be open to healing now?" Don't listen to the bugaboos. Be open. You have
already in you an openness to be healed yourself.
The other gift that you were given when you
arrived in the human realm was a lack of sense of time. In your earlier
incarnations, in earlier times in this world, you didn't know anything except
the present moment. No matter what was going on, there you were. You were
always there, no matter what was happening. The bugaboos of pride, status,
competitiveness, and anger can only exist if your consciousness is actually in
the past viewing the present moment. There is no fear and no anger when you
are alive in the flow of the present moment. That is another gift that you were
given that has been stolen from you by the bugaboos.
