The Transformation workshops are ceremonial, creative, experiential workshops that introduce powerful shamanic and emotional skills to heal dysfunctional emotional patterns at a root cause level. Utilizing the light, conscious trance state of the core shamanic journey technique to bypass habitual ego consciousness, deep healing and transformation occur. In the shamanic model of healing, the more we connect with our authentic inner nature, the more in attunement we become with the natural world outside of us.
As the energetics of the planet intensify over the next several years, our psyches will no longer be able to tolerate the self-deceptions that drain our life-force energy. TRANSFORMATION 1
June 17-19, 2011, Santa Fe, NM

- Tuition includes art supplies, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, light snacks throughout the weekend and dinner on Sunday evening.
- Limited accommodations (room with private bath + shared kitchen) available in private home in Santa Fe for first six registrants at $60-$75 per night. Other recommendations for accommodations in Santa Fe will be provided upon registration.
- $50 discount on the total tuition for participants who take both T1 & T2 back-to-back. (If you decide after T1 to take T2 the following weekend and there is still space available, the $50 will be deducted from the tuition for T2.)
- If you refer someone who then registers for the T1 workshop, you will receive a $25 credit toward a shamanic healing session with Luisa by phone/Skype/in-person.
- $25 discount on tuition for T1 & T2 grads who are repeating a Transformation workshop.
In the Transformation 1 workshop, we draw from the ancient technique of the shamanic journey and Pia Mellody's therapy model of Codependency to come into a conscious connection with The Historical Child, The Adapted Adult and The Inner Wise Man/Woman. Often our inclination is to feel repelled by our inner emotional wounds. Yet, hidden within the wound lies our spiritual assignment and our spiritual treasure, the discovery of which is the objective of this workshop.
In Transformation 1, the core-shamanic journey technique (including meeting your power animal) is learned and used to access a light, conscious trance state through which your perceptual abilities expand beyond your habitual ego-consciousness. This facilitates break-through awarenesses and the release of stuck, emotional patterns.
Through meditation, shamanic journeying, ceremony, drumming, movement and creative art-play, we come into a relationship of compassion with our "shadow" parts. Rather than getting "rid" of our shadow parts, we creatively assist these parts in healing and transforming into valuable allies in our lives.

In Transformation 2, we de-mythologize our parents, detoxifying distorted self-perceptions from our families-of-origin. Continuing with the Medicine Wheel teachings in T1, we meet our inner spiritual allies and learn how to come into authentic relationship with these archetypes on a daily basis. We learn a new way to walk in peace in our lives.
There will be meditation, shamanic journeying, ceremony, drumming, movement and continued work with our soul cards. A culminating healing ceremony prepares participants to integrate the Transformation work into their everyday spiritual practice.

Transformation 3 is an exploration of our inner masculine/feminine balance. Through shamanic journeying, Medicine Wheel psychodrama, soul-card work and private time in nature, we explore and transform our energy templates of sexuality, sensuality and intimacy. We explore the difference between healthy, relational bonding and codependent, addictive patterns of medicating relational trauma. Parts of our life-force energy that are frozen back in time are invited to reunite with us in present time. The retrieval of these parts of ourselves restores our inherent sense of self-worth and strengthens our ability to be relational and intimate with ourselves and others.
