For those of us living in America's finest city, enjoying more than 300 days of sunshine a year is just one of the many benefits we enjoy. Another is access to more than 70 miles of the most beautiful beaches in America.
We love the beach! That's why SAN DIEGO BIG members come together to work and play for a common goal; we contribute to the upkeep of beach sports equipment (such as volleyball courts, basketball courts, & other maintenance projects) and help keep San Diego beaches beautiful, clean and easily accessible for residents and visitors alike. Come join us!

 I Love a Clean San Diego Coastal Clean Up Day
Saturday, Sep 19th
9 AM - 12 Noon
Join Sempra employees and their families as they help to beautify Mission Beach and the boardwalk. We need more volunteers, as we will have several projects going on simultaneously.
You might remember that we put a call out for mural artists to paint their favorite beach scene on the police department utility containers located at Belmont Park near Mission and Pacific Beaches. Well we asked and they answered! To date, we have successfully signed up 12 local artists to participate.
Come join the fun and make this family-friendly event a BIG success. See details below:

a Success!
A beautiful day at Mariner's Point. 65 players showed up to duke it out in our 1st annual King & Queen Beach Volleyball Celebration. With a strong showing of our community beach volleyball players, positive vibes surrounded the day as we celebrated the beach, enjoyed chicken & beef tacos from Taquizas El Unico, potluck fruit, water from Sparklettes and Powerade.
