Greetings!
We are excited to announce our first community and City approved project for the year. The outdoor basketball court, next to the beach volleyball courts, at South Mission Beach needs new backboard supports and rims. We will be working with Match Point and the City of San Diego and raising additional funds over the next two months to complete the project. Total money needed is $3700. We presented San Diego BIG to several non profits in the area and we are excited to welcome our new liaisons for the following groups: Mission Bay Town Council (Greg Peterson), Mission Beach Town Council (Dawn Knight), Surfrider Foundation (Chris Lydick), I Love a Clean San Diego (Vance Sharp) and Ocean Beach Town Council (Kristen Blackmore). We really appreciate this support and look forward to working on some beach projects together.

Danny's volleyball career began winning 3 CIF Division III titles at Francis Parker HS, continued at UC Santa Barbara, and culminated with two seasons of semi-professional volleyball in Sydney, Australia.  Beach Clean-up at La Jolla Shores
We have joined forces with for their I Love a Clean San Diego - Creek to Bay clean-up day on April 25th. Volunteer HERE (ZONE 3)Laura Hendrickson and Brandy Lewis will be site captains at La Jolla Shores and we'd love to see you help out for the cause there in La Jolla or in your local neighborhood. I need two more site managers to help hand out stuff and then to help weigh the trash collect from 9-12.
